Dr. ThomousThomas W. Cummings, OD

Dr. Thomas Cummings was born in Florida, but grew up most of his life in New York State. After graduating as the salutatorian of his high school class, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry summa cum laude from Eisenhower College in Seneca Falls, NY. He received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Ohio State University College of Optometry, following which he completed a one-year fellowship in Ocular Disease Evaluation and Treatment at Capital Eye Consultants in Fairfax, Va.

Dr. Cummings started his private practice in Woodland Park in 1993. He enjoys specialty contact lens fitting, ocular disease management, and refractive surgery comanagement in addition to primary care optometry.

His wife, Ann, is a teacher in the Woodland Park School District. He has a daughter, Maureen, and a son, Sam.
